Metiram, an advanced fungicide developed through optimization based on mancozeb, not only preserves the broad-spectrum fungicidal properties of its predecessor but also significantly enhances zinc ion content (with a zinc concentration as high as 18%), thereby improving crop photosynthesis and disease resistance. Furthermore, metiram addresses the phytotoxicity risks associated with mancozeb, demonstrating markedly enhanced crop safety while maintaining robust pest control efficacy.
