Cartap Hydrochloride is a derivative of sandworm toxin. It has strong gastric toxicity. It also kills pests through contact and exhibits some repellent and ovicidal properties. These effects lead to a quick knockdown of pests. However, recovery can occur, so caution is needed during use. Cartap Hydrochloride provides a relatively long residual activity period. Its insecticidal spectrum is broad. It effectively controls various pests, including Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, and nematodes. Additionally, it has minimal impact on predatory mites. Cartap's toxicological mechanism blocks impulse transmission at the synapses of nerve cells. This leads to paralysis in insects. This mechanism differs from those of general organophosphates, organochlorines, and carbamate insecticides.
1. Control of Rice Pests: For the control of striped stem borer and yellow stem borer, use 75-100g of Cartap Hydrochloride 50% soluble powder per mu, diluted in 40-50kg of water for spraying. For rice leaf folder and rice stem borer, use 100-150g of Cartap Hydrochloride 50% soluble powder per mu, diluted in 50-60kg of water for spraying.
2. Control of Vegetable Pests: For the control of diamondback moth and cabbage worm, use 25-50g of Cartap Hydrochloride 50% soluble powder per mu, diluted in 50-60kg of water for spraying.
3. Control of Tea Tree Pests: Use 1000-2000 times dilution of Cartap Hydrochloride 50% soluble powder for uniform spraying.
