Carboxin is a thiocarbamate fungicide that acts as a multi-site protective fungicide. It primarily targets the acetyl-CoA in the respiratory system of pathogens, rendering it inactive and thereby inhibiting mitochondrial respiration, which affects energy metabolism. Additionally, it can interact with other coenzymes and enzymes such as pyruvate dehydrogenase, disrupting the normal physiological metabolism of pathogens.
Triadimenol is an efficient, low-toxicity broad-spectrum fungicide with systemic properties that can kill pathogens attached to the surface and inside of seeds. Its fungicidal action affects the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungi.
Application of Triadimenol
Triadimenol is suitable for diseases caused by fungi that infect cereal seeds and foliar diseases, such as hard smut, loose smut, net smut, powdery mildew, stripe disease, rust, seedling blight, and wheat root rot. In addition to its application on cereals, triadimenol can also be used on grapes, fruit trees, vegetables, and plantations.
