Esfenvalerate, also called cis-c ypermethrin, is a moderately toxic insecticide. It has four times more insecticidal activity than cyp-ermethrin and kills pests primarily by acting on the insect's nervous system. Specifically, Esfenvalerate, causes the insect to become hyperexcited and then paralyzed and die. It has touch, stomach and some repellent effects.
Wide range of applications
Esfenvalerate, is widely used on a wide range of plants, including fruit trees such as apple, pear, peach, grape, hawthorn, date, citrus, etc., grain, cotton, oil and sugar crops such as wheat, corn, rice, soybean, peanut, cotton, sugar beet, etc., as well as melons, fruits and vegetables such as chili peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, cruciferous vegetables, and potatoes. It has good killing effect on many kinds of chewing mouthparts and piercing mouthparts pests, such as heart-eating insects, cotton bollworm, red bollworm, cabbage greenfly, cabbage moth, beet noctuid moth, slash moth, leaf miner moth, pod borer, grass borer, corn borer, leaf roller, pine caterpillar and so on. However, it is not effective against leaf mite pests.
