Zhongshengmycin are N-glycosides biogenic antibiotics, and their mechanism of action on pathogenic bacteria is to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial proteins, leading to the death of bacteria. It can be used to control rice bacterial blight.
Application of zhongshengmycin
(1) Control of vegetable bacterial diseases.
For cabbage soft rot and solanaceous bacterial wilt, apply 1000-1200 dilution spray at early disease onset, 3-4 applications total. For ginger bacterial wilt, soak seeds in 300-500 dilution for 2h before sowing, then apply 800-1000 dilution as soil drench (0.25kg solution per plant) during growth, 3-4 applications total. For cucumber angular leaf spot, bean bacterial blight, and watermelon bacterial fruit blotch, apply 1000-1200 dilution spray at early onset. Repeat every 7-10 days for 3-4 sprays.
(2) Control of rice bacterial leaf blight and bakanae disease.
Soak seeds in 600 dilution for 5-7 days, then apply 1000-1200 dilution spray 1-2 times at early disease onset.
(3) Control of fruit tree diseases.
For apple ring rot, anthracnose, Alternaria leaf spot, and moldy core; grape anthracnose and black spot; watermelon Fusarium wilt and anthracnose, begin spraying at early disease onset using 1000-1200 dilution, 3-4 applications total. For apple diseases, initiate applications at flowering stage.
