Ziram is an agricultural dithiocarbamate fungicide used on a wide variety of plant fungi and diseases. It may be applied to the foliage of plants, but it is also used as a soil and/or seed treatment. Ziram is used primarily on almonds and stone fruits. It is also used as an accelerator in rubber manufacturing, packaging materials, adhesives, and textiles. Another use of the compound is as a bird and rodent repellent. Ziram is often marketed as a wettable powder or as granules. Granules or grains are sifted into water and agitated prior to application.
Thiram is a broad-spectrum protective fungicide of the organic sulfur class. Its mechanism of action involves inhibiting the activity of certain enzymes in pathogens and disrupting the tricarboxylic acid cycle, leading to the death of the pathogens. This agent has a certain degree of permeability and a relatively long residual effect in the soil. At high doses, Thiram has a certain repellent effect on field mice and wild rabbits.

4. Prevention of Rodents and Rabbits
Using a 50% wettable powder solution diluted 8 times, apply to the trunks of young citrus and peach trees to prevent damage from rabbits and mice.
Application of Ziram
1.Ziram is used for fungicidal control in pome fruit, stone fruit, nuts, vines, vegetables, and ornamentals. In particular, control of scab in apples and pears: Monilia, Alternaria, Septoria, peach leaf curl, shot-hole, rusts, black rot and anthracnose. Also used as a wildlife repellent, when smeared as a paste onto tree trunks or sprayed on to ornamentals, dormant fruit trees, and other crops.
2.This product has antibacterial and bactericidal effects, with a primary protective effect and a therapeutic effect. It has a good control effect on cucumber anthracnose.
·This product should be used in the early stages of cucumber anthracnose outbreak.
·Do not apply pesticides on windy days or expected rainfall within 1 hour.
