Cymoxanil affects the synthesis of fungal cell walls. It inhibits their growth. The fungal cell wall is crucial for survival and reproduction. Thus, this mechanism effectively prevents fungal diseases.
Cymoxanil disrupts the normal structure and function of fungal cell membranes. It interferes with fungal metabolism and nutrient exchange. This disturbance leads to fungal cell death. This mechanism is essential for Cymoxanil's effectiveness against fungal diseases.
Cymoxanil inhibits the synthesis of fungal nucleic acids. Nucleic acid synthesis is vital for fungal cell division and reproduction. Cymoxanil disrupts this process, preventing fungal growth and reproduction.
Cyazofamid is a mitochondrial respiration inhibitor. It kills pathogens by blocking electron transfer in cytochrome bcl's Qi site. This prevents energy production in pathogens. The binding site is the Q point, classifying it as a Qil fungicide. It disrupts normal physiological responses, leading to pathogen death. Unlike methoxyacrylate agents, it acts on all growth stages of fungi. It remains effective against pathogens resistant or sensitive to metalaxyl. Cyazofamid has good systemic and penetrative properties. It quickly distributes within plants for comprehensive protection. It also has therapeutic effects, controlling existing diseases.
1. Efficiency: Cymoxanil can rapidly eliminate fungi and has a significant effect on controlling diseases.
2. Quick Action: Cymoxanil has a fast killing effect on pathogens, enabling early control of disease spread.
3. Reduced Dosage: The dosage of Cymoxanil is relatively small, effectively lowering pesticide usage costs.
1. Strong targeting and effective. It is particularly effective against downy mildew on cucumbers, sweet melons, and spinach, late blight on tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers, as well as root rot diseases in cruciferous vegetables like cabbage and Chinese cabbage.
2. Low dosage, long-lasting effect, and safety. The effectiveness lasts for 10 to 14 days, reducing the frequency of application. After spraying cyprodinil, no side effects have been observed on the tender leaves and young fruits of vegetables. It has no impact on beneficial microorganisms, plants, and higher animals, making it highly safe for crops and the environment. The pesticide residue on vegetables is low, meeting the requirements for pollution-free vegetable production, making it highly recommended for widespread application in production.
3. Resistant to rain wash and delivers high yield. Rainfall occurring one hour after application does not affect its efficacy. After use, there are no residue stains left on the surfaces of fruits and vegetables, improving their quality and increasing profits.
4. A super protective fungicide. It can inhibit the germination and formation of pathogens at all stages of spore development, effectively reducing the population of pathogens and preventing the occurrence and spread of diseases.
5. A brand new mechanism of action with no cross-resistance sites with other fungicides, effectively controlling pathogens that have developed resistance to commonly used fungicides such as mancozeb+cymoxanil, oxadixyl and metalaxyl. It can be mixed with other insecticides and fungicides.
1. Fruit Tree Diseases
Cymoxanil effectively controls various pathogens on fruit trees, such as anthracnose, powdery mildew, scab, and black star disease. It has widespread applications in flower protection and fruit preservation.
2. Vegetable Diseases
Cymoxanil can be used to control major vegetable diseases such as blight, damping-off, and downy mildew.
3. Rice Diseases
Rice diseases significantly affect rice yield. Cymoxanil can effectively control sheath blight and rice blast diseases.
4. Other Diseases
Cymoxanil is also applicable to the control of diseases in crops like wheat, corn, and lawns. It treats wheat leaf rust, corn leaf spot, and lawn grey mold.
In summary, Cymoxanil is a broad-spectrum fungicide suitable for treating various plant diseases. However, users should pay attention to dosage and application intervals to avoid excessive or unnecessary harm to crops.
Cyazofamid, as a super protective fungicide, applies mainly to various crops like fruit trees, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, melons, cabbage, lettuce, onions, grapes, lychees, and gourds. It controls diseases caused by Oomycetes, including late blight, downy mildew, damping-off, and root rot. Notably, compared to broad-spectrum fungicides, Cyazofamid is effective only against lower fungi Oomycete diseases. Its specificity and effectiveness against Oomycetes earn it the title of the "downy mildew killer."
Cyazofamid primarily serves as a protective agent but also offers some therapeutic and systemic properties. It is effective throughout all growth stages of Oomycete pathogens and does not show cross-resistance with different types of fungicides like metalaxyl. However, it has no inhibitory activity against most higher fungi, such as Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes.
In agricultural production, Cyazofamid is mainly applied through spraying. For controlling diseases in potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, and cabbages, use 53-66 ml of a 100 g/L suspension per acre, diluted in 30-45 kg of water for uniform spraying. For grapes and lychees, a 2000-2500 fold dilution of the same suspension is recommended for uniform spraying. Start spraying before or at the early stage of disease onset, at intervals of 7-10 days, alternating with different types of agents. For late blight in potatoes, apply 48-60 g per hectare for uniform spraying.
