Clopyralid water agent is a type of pyridine herbicide with strong internal absorption. After being applied to weeds, it is absorbed by the leaves or roots, moves up and down within the plant, quickly spreading throughout the entire plant. Its herbicidal mechanism works by promoting the formation of plant nucleic acids, generating an excess of ribonucleic acids, leading to excessive root growth, abnormal stem and leaf growth, nutrient depletion, obstruction of vascular bundle transport function, and ultimately causing the death of weeds.
Picloram is a systemic herbicide used for general woody plant control. It also controls a wide range of broad-leaved weeds, but most grasses are resistant. A chlorinated derivative of picolinic acid, picloram is in the pyridin family of herbicides.
Picloram can be sprayed on foliage, injected into plants, applied to cut surfaces, or placed at the base of the plant where it will leach to the roots. Once absorbed by the foliage, stem, or roots, picloram is transported throughout the plant.
Application of Clopyralid
1. For rape fields from post-seedling to early bolt stage, and broad-leaved weeds at the 4-8 leaf stage, apply 9-16 grams of 75% soluble granules per mu (for spring rapeseed) or 6-10 grams (for winter rapeseed), or 35-60ml of 30% powder (for spring rapeseed), using a water sprayer. One day after application, weed leaves will begin to curl downwards, with leaves becoming wilted and deformed within 3-10 days. By 15 days, they will start to die, with a residual effect lasting up to 60 days.
If 5 grams of 75% soluble granules are used in conjunction with 30ml of 50% Clethodim suspension agent per mu, it can enhance the control effect, and is safer for rapeseed.
2.For chemical control of annual broad-leaved weeds in other crops, apply 45-60ml of 30% powder per mu for spring wheat, and 67-100ml for spring corn, using a water sprayer. This agent can also be used to control weeds in non-cultivated and leisure areas.
Application of Picloram
Picloram of action Selective systemic herbicide, absorbed rapidly by the roots and leaves, and translocated both acropetally and basipetally, accumulating in new growth. Picloram Uses The main use of picloram salts and esters is for the management of unwanted vegetation in rangeland, grass pastures, forestry, as well as non-crop land and rights-of-way sites such as around industrial and mil-itary installations, roads, railways, airports, under powerlines and along pipelines. In some countries, there are additional uses in rice, sugar cane, cereals and oilseed rape. Phytotoxicity Phytotoxic to most broad-leaved crops (except crucifers). Non-phytotoxic to established grasses, but seedling grasses may be susceptible. Formulation types SL. When picloram is formulated as a stand-alone product, it is typically as the potassium salt. When in combination with other active ingredients, picloram is formulated either as an ester or an amine salt. Picloram.
