Pyraclostrobin fungicide is a mitochondrial respiration inhibitor. It blocks electron transfer between cytochrome b and C1. This inhibition prevents ATP production. Consequently, it leads to cell death. Pyraclostrobin strongly suppresses spore germination in pathogens. It shows significant antibacterial activity against various fungal pathogens. It has protective and curative effects. Pyraclostrobin fungicide penetrates well and can be applied via foliar sprays, surface treatments, or seed treatments. It is highly selective and safe for crops, humans, livestock, and beneficial organisms. It causes minimal environmental pollution. Additionally, it enhances physiological functions in crops and boosts their resilience.
Captan, the main component of which is pyrazole compounds, can interfere with the enzyme systems within pathogenic cells, inhibiting the protein synthesis of pathogens and thereby preventing their growth and reproduction. At the same time, Captan can also enhance the immunity of plants, improving their resistance to diseases, thus achieving the effect of disease prevention and control.
Captan is a protective fungicide. It has contact and therapeutic effects. It targets multiple sites in pathogens. It disrupts their respiration and cell division. It penetrates cell membranes and damages biological activity. It does not easily induce resistance. Captan can be applied in various ways. Use it for seed coating, spraying, root drenching, soaking, and soil disinfection. It effectively inhibits re-infection. Its residual effect lasts about 15 days.
Features of Pyraclostrobin
1. Broad Spectrum of Activity and Wide Application Range
Pyraclostrobin fungicide exhibits excellent activity against nearly all types of fungal diseases. It can be used to control leaf spot diseases, rust, powdery mildew, downy mildew, blight, anthracnose, scab, brown spot, damping-off, and other plant diseases caused by various fungal pathogens. It is widely applicable to over 100 crops, including wheat, peanuts, rice, vegetables, fruit trees, tobacco, tea plants, and ornamental plants.
2. Combination of Prevention and Treatment with Health Benefits
Pyraclostrobin fungicide has both protective and curative effects, with good penetration and systemic action. It can be applied through foliar sprays, surface treatments, and seed treatments.
Additionally, Pyraclostrobin fungicide can induce physiological changes in many crops (especially cereals), enhancing nitrogen absorption during rapid growth stages, reducing ethylene biosynthesis, and delaying crop senescence. When crops are attacked by pathogens, it accelerates the formation of resistance proteins, improving the crops' innate immunity and enhancing their resilience to adverse growth factors.
3. Good Compatibility, Safe and Low Toxicity
Pyraclostrobin fungicide can be mixed with various fungicides, such as benzimidazole, mancozeb, acibenzolar-S-methyl, and triazoles. This not only broadens its spectrum of activity but also allows for synergistic effects. It can also be mixed with various insecticides, plant growth regulators, and foliar fertilizers, achieving multiple functions in a single application, including disease prevention and treatment, pest control, growth regulation, and nutritional supplementation. This versatility is a key reason why Pyraclostrobin fungicide frequently appears in various yield-increasing formulations.
Moreover, Pyraclostrobin fungicide is characterized by its resistance to rain wash-off, long-lasting efficacy, low toxicity, and safety for users and the environment.
Application of Pyraclostrobin
Pyraclostrobin fungicide can be used on various crops, including wheat, peanuts, rice, vegetables, fruit trees, tobacco, tea plants, ornamental plants, and lawns. When pathogens come into contact with the fungicide, it inhibits their mitochondrial respiration and spore germination, ultimately leading to cell death and significantly reducing the spread of the disease.
Pyraclostrobin effectively controls multiple diseases such as powdery mildew, fusarium head blight, downy mildew, brown blight, leaf spot, scab, black rot, anthracnose, wilt, and root rot. At the early stages of disease onset, we can apply a 2000-fold dilution of 25% pyrazole fungicide via foliar spray, repeating every 7 days for 2 to 3 applications based on disease severity.
Prevention should be the primary focus; spraying before or at the early stages of disease can help minimize losses. If crops are already in the late stages of disease, we can mix it with other fungicides to enhance the control effect.
Application of Captan
1. Control of Crop Diseases: Captan can be used to control various crop diseases, such as wheat rust, corn blast, rice sheath blight, apple anthracnose, and grape downy mildew. In practical applications, the appropriate dosage and application method should be selected based on the type of crop, the type of disease, and the severity of the disease occurrence.
2. Seed Treatment: Captan can also be used for seed treatment. Through methods like seed coating or soaking, it effectively controls seed-borne diseases that cause problems during the seedling stage. Seed treatment not only improves the survival rate of crops but also reduces the likelihood of disease occurrence later on.
3. Soil Treatment: Captan can also be used for soil treatment. By using irrigation or spraying methods, the agent can be evenly applied to the soil to control pathogenic bacteria present in the soil. This helps improve the soil environment and enhances crop yield and quality.
