Cyhalofop-Butyl is an aryl oxyphenoxy propio-nic acid herbicide that is a systemic herbicide. It is absorbed by the leaves and leaf sheaths of the plant, translocated in the phloem, and disrupts the normal cell growth and division. It effectively controls annual grass weeds in rice fields such as barnyard grass and goosegrass.
Bispyribac-Sodium is a selective herbicide that can prevent and control grass weeds such as barnyard grass, foxtail, goosegrass, barnyard millet, Cyperus iria, Cyperus difformis, Cyperus esculentus, Cyperus rotundus, Eleusine indica, Echinochloa crus-galli, Echinochloa colona, Echinochloa oryzicola, Panicum repens, etc., as well as broadleaf weeds and sedge weeds.
Application of Cyhalofop-Butyl
1.Nursery field: Apply the herbicide when the barnyard grass is at the 1.5-2 leaf stage, using 30-50 milliliters of 10% Cyhalofop-Butyl per acre (active ingredient 3-5 grams), mixed with 30-40 liters of water, and spray on the stems and leaves.
2.Direct-seeded fields, broadcast-seeded fields, and transplanted fields: Apply the herbicide when the rice and grass are at the 2-4 leaf stage, using 50-80 milliliters of 10% Cyhalofop-Butyl per acre (active ingredient 5-8 grams), mixed with 30-40 liters of water, and process on the stems and leaves. Increase the dosage appropriately when controlling mature weeds.
For goosegrass, barnyard grass, Echinochloa crus-galli, and Setaria faberi at the 2-leaf 1-heart stage (various growth stages of rice), apply 100-200 milliliters per acre. Add 30 milliliters for each additional leaf of goosegrass, and increase the dosage when weed density is high (20-40 grams per acre based on different active ingredient concentrations). If weeds appear sporadically, spot spraying is recommended to reduce herbicide costs. It is not advisable to use Cyhalofop-Butyl when goosegrass enters the panicle stage.
Application of Bispyribac-Sodium
1.During the 4-5 leaf stage of rice and the 3-4 leaf stage of weeds, mix 30 kilograms of water per acre and spray evenly.
2.Before applying the herbicide, the paddy field should be drained in advance so that at least two-thirds of the stems and leaves of the weeds are exposed above the water surface. Within 1-2 days after spraying, irrigate the field with a 3-5 cm layer of water (based on not submerging the rice leaves), and then proceed with normal management.
3.When applying the herbicide, pay attention to the accurate dosage, ensure even spraying, apply the herbicide in calm weather without wind or rain as much as possible to avoid drift of spray droplets and harm to surrounding crops. Avoid over-spraying or missing spots.
4.Only use the herbicide once per season at most.
