Product Description

It is a pre-emergent herbicide, meaning it is applied to the soil before the target plants emerge. Acetochlor works by inhibiting weed growth through interference with seedling development.



Dichlormid is a herbicide safener widely used in agriculture to protect corn (maize) crops from injury caused by thiocarbamate and chloroacetanilide herbicides. It enhances crop tolerance by stimulating detoxification enzymes, allowing effective weed control without damaging plants. Applied as a seed treatment or tank-mix additive, it improves herbicide selectivity under various soil conditions. Dichlormid is particularly effective with herbicides like EPTC and butylate.



Application of Acetochlor

1.Timing of application: Acetochlor is typically applied as a pre-emergence herbicide, meaning it is applied before the crop and weed seeds have germinated. It is crucial to apply acetochlor before the weeds emerge to prevent competition with the crop plants. In some cases, acetochlor can also be used as a post-emergence herbicide, but it is most effective when applied early in the crop's growth cycle.

2.Application method: Acetochlor is usually applied as a liquid spray, either as a pre-plant incorporated treatment or as a surface application. It can be applied using ground equipment such as sprayers or using aerial application for large fields.

3.Target crops: Acetochlor is commonly used in crops such as corn, soybeans, cotton, peanuts, and sugarcane. It is effective in controlling annual grasses, including foxtail, barnyardgrass, crabgrass, and goosegrass, as well as certain broadleaf weeds like pigweed, waterhemp, and lambsquarters.

Application of Dichlormid

Dichlormid is a special protective agent to prevent corn from being harmed by Gramoxone. It can be used for seed dressing or mixed with herbicides for soil treatment by spray. Generally, the dosage per mu is 1.4 - 1.7 grams. This agent also has a protective effect on rice and wheat, protecting them from being harmed by herbicides such as Buctril, Atrazine, Hetaizhao, Lasso, Duer, Acetochlor and Butachlor.
