Imidacloprid is a highly efficient neonicotinoid insecticide. It has broad-spectrum activity, high efficiency, low toxicity, and low residue. Pests are less likely to develop resistance. It is safe for humans, animals, plants, and beneficial insects. The insecticide works through contact, stomach poisoning, and systemic action. When pests contact the product, their central nervous system transmission is disrupted, leading to paralysis and death. It shows good efficacy within one day after application, with a residual period of about 25 days. The effectiveness increases with temperature; higher temperatures enhance insecticidal effects.
