Clomazone is a selective pre-emergent herbicide, which is absorbed by the roots and young shoots and translocated to various parts of the plant, thereby inhibiting the generation of pentadiene compounds, destroying chlorophyll after grass germination, and causing the plant to die in a short period.
Imazethapyr is a selective herbicide that primarily kills weeds by inhibiting photosynthesis in plants. It is effective against both monocot and dicot weeds, such as lambsquarters, amaranth, polygonum, black nightshade, and bittercress. It is mainly used in non-cultivated areas
1. Broad-spectrum weed control, high activity. Isoxaben can be used in soybean, rice, rapeseed, cotton, cassava, sugarcane, and tobacco fields to control barnyard grass, dog's-tail grass, knotweed, goosegrass, purslane, goosefoot, pigweed, groundcherry, pale persicaria, and pigweed, as well as other annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. It also has a strong inhibitory effect on thistles, thorny amaranth, lettuce, and bracken. Currently, Isoxaben is considered one of the herbicides for controlling "Three Vegetables" (orchid, lettuce, thistle).
2. Long-lasting effectiveness. Generally, a single application can maintain efficacy throughout the crop's entire growth period and can perform well under dry and low-temperature conditions.
3. Flexible application timing. It can be used for pre-emergent and pre-planting closure treatment, as well as post-emergent stem and leaf treatment.
4. Low toxicity. It is safe for crops, humans, livestock, aquatic organisms, and environmentally friendly.
5. Strong compatibility. It can be mixed with many herbicide varieties, making it convenient to use and highly effective.
Application of Imazethapyr
Imazethapyr is used to control grassy weeds and certain broadleaf weeds in soybean fields and other leguminous crops, such as barnyard grass, foxtail, green foxtail, hemp dogbane, redroot pigweed, and lambsquarters.
Usage Method: It can be applied as a soil treatment before or after soybean planting or as a post-emergence foliar treatment. The dosage is 75-100 grams per hectare (based on active ingredient), mixed with 450-1750 liters of water for spraying. It is most effective when applied before the weeds reach the 1-2 leaf stage.
