Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt is a plant growth regulator that promotes rooting. It is the potassium salt of indole-3-butyric acid, with greater stability than indole-3-butyric acid itself. It is completely water-soluble and functions to promote rooting of cuttings, enhance crop growth, increase yields, and facilitate seed germination.
Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt exhibits physiological effects similar to indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), influencing cell division and elongation in plants, although its effects are less pronounced than IAA. This product is absorbed into plants through foliar spraying, root dipping, and other methods, transferred from leaves, seeds, and other parts into the plant body, and concentrates at growth points. It stimulates cell division and induces the formation of adventitious roots, resulting in increased, straight, thick roots with more root hairs. Its efficacy lasts longer, and it is more effective when used in combination with naphthylacetic acid (NAA).
Within the plant, it is not easily oxidized and has poor conduction properties.
1.Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt can act on all actively growing parts of the plant, such as roots, young shoots, and fruits. It shows a strong effect on targeted areas by promoting cell division and stimulating growth.
2.It features long-lasting efficacy and specificity.
3.It can promote the growth of new roots, induce the formation of root primordia, and facilitate adventitious root formation on cuttings.
4.It has good stability and safety, making it an excellent rooting and growth-promoting agent.
Application
1.ndole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt Quick Dip: Dissolve an appropriate amount of Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt in a small amount of alcohol, dilute with water to the required concentration (generally 500-2000 ppm), dip the bundled cuttings into the solution for 5-10 seconds, then take them out and let them air dry before planting.
2.Indole-3-Butyric Acid Sodium Slow Dip: Prepare a solution of Indole-3-Butyric Acid sodium salt at a concentration of 20-300 ppm, immerse the cuttings in the solution for 8-24 hours, take them out and plant.
3.Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt Powder Dip: Dissolve Indole-3-Butyric Acid Potassium Salt in an appropriate amount of ethanol, add talcum powder or other additives, allow the ethanol to evaporate to form a powder. Moisten the base of the cuttings, dip them into the powder, and then plant.
