Folpet is a protective leaf-fungicide. Its mode of action inhibits normal cell division of a broad spectrum of microorganisms. It is used to control cherry leaf spot, rose mildew, rose black spot, and apple scab. Used on berries, flowers, ornamentals, fruits and vegetables, and for seed- and plant-bed treatment. Also used as a fungicide in paints and plastics, and for treatment of internal and external structural surfaces of buildings.
Applications of Ferbam
1.Ferbet is active against Erysiphe spp, Venturia spp, Glomerella spp, Gloeosporium spp, Sphaerotheca spp, Podosphaera spp, Peronospora spp, Alternaria spp, Phytophthora spp, Botrytis spp, etc. It is used to control various diseases of cereal crops, vegetables, and fruit trees, and also has plant growth-stimulating effects.
2. it can control rice blast, rice sheath blight, cereal rusts, peanut leaf spot, potato late blight, tobacco anthracnose, etc.
3.It is mainly used as a spray: spray with about 0.1% concentration solution to control downy mildew and powdery mildew on melons, vegetables, and grapes; early blight and late blight on potatoes and tomatoes; anthracnose, scab, and powdery mildew on apples; gray mold on strawberries, etc. Spray with about 0.2% concentration solution to control wheat powdery mildew, rust, scab, peanut leaf spot, tobacco anthracnose, rice sheath blight, etc.
When the dosage is too high, some varieties of pear, sweet cherry, peach, and grape are prone to phytotoxicity.
Except that it should not be mixed with strongly alkaline agents and oil-based formulations, it can be mixed with most common pesticides.
