Azadirachtin has a chemical structure similar to the insect's endogenous ecdysteroids. High doses of it can directly kill insects. Low doses stop insect development. It mainly acts on the insect endocrine system. Azadirachtin reduces the release of ecdysteroids. This interferes with the normal life cycle. As a result, it affects the molting and metamorphosis of insects. It can also directly damage the cuticle structure. It may prevent the formation of chitin in the cuticle. Additionally, it can interfere with respiratory metabolism. This affects the development of the reproductive system. Even at very low concentrations, Azadirachtin can prevent insect molting. It inhibits adult insect mating and oviposition. After consuming a certain amount of the agent, pest activity decreases. Their feeding behavior also diminishes significantly. Eventually, the insects die.
2. It is safe for the environment, humans, livestock, and beneficial organisms. It is currently recognized worldwide as a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low-toxicity, easily degradable, and residue-free insecticide, with no resistance developed.
3.It is effective in repelling and killing nearly all plant pests, especially those that have developed resistance to chemical insecticides. It is suitable for controlling spider mites, aphids, leaf miners, whiteflies, diamondback moths, cabbage worms, tobacco budworms, tea yellow mites, thrips, and other Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Diptera pests. It can also control underground pests and is particularly effective against diamondback moths and pod borers. It can be mixed with Bacillus thuringiensis to enhance control effectiveness.
4.The use of this product is not restricted by temperature or humidity conditions, making it more convenient than other biological pesticides.
