Flutriafol is a triazole fungicide. It inhibits sterol demethylation. The product has good systemic activity. Plants absorb it through roots, stems, and leaves. It moves upward via the vascular system. It effectively inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis. This causes fungal cell walls to rupture. It protects against many diseases caused by basidiomycetes and ascomycetes. It also has some fumigant properties.
Thiabendazole, with the chemical name 2-(4-thiazolyl)-1H-benzimidazole, is a white or nearly white crystalline powder that is slightly soluble in water. It has a molecular formula of C10H7N3S and a molecular weight of 201.25 g/mol.
