Trifluralin emulsifiable concentrate is suitable for vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, bok choy, celery, radish, carrot, snap bean, and cowpea, with optimal application before sowing. For vegetables like tomato, pepper, eggplant, cabbage, and cauliflower, it should be applied after transplanting and before weed emergence by uniformly spraying with water, followed by immediate soil incorporation to maximize efficacy.
480 g/L trifluralin emulsifiable concentrate is a selective pre-emergence soil herbicide suitable for various vegetable fields, including potato, rapeseed, cowpea, pepper, cilantro, tomato, garlic, celery, and lettuce. It effectively controls gramineous weeds such as crabgrass, barnyard grass, goosegrass, green foxtail, goosegrass, annual bluegrass, and chickweed, as well as some broadleaf weeds like polygonum, amaranth, and purslane.
This herbicide can be applied pre-emergence after planting or pre-transplanting by uniform field spraying. After application, soil incorporation is required to ensure the herbicide penetrates to a depth of 2-5 cm.
Dosage varies for different vegetable fields:
- For sweet pepper, celery, tomato, eggplant, radish, and transplanted cucumber fields, apply 100-150 grams per mu mixed with 50 kg of water for spraying.
- For transplanted onion fields, apply 125 grams per mu.
- For legume fields (e.g., pole bean, kidney bean, pea, and broad bean), apply 150 grams per mu.
- For lettuce fields, apply 125-150 grams per mu, all mixed with 50 kg of water for uniform spraying.
Additionally, the field should be finely leveled to ensure thorough contact between the herbicide and weed roots and shoots, enhancing weed control. Trifluralin emulsifiable concentrate performs particularly well in vegetable fields with plastic mulch coverage.
