Product Description

Insecticide Combination Hexaflumuron 1% + Beta-Cypermethrin 4% Sc

Insecticide Combination Hexaflumuron 1% + Beta-Cypermethrin 4% SC
Product Description

The mechanism of action of Hexaflumuron is to inhibit the synthesis of chitin, which is the main component of the insect exoskeleton. Fluazifop acts within the insect's body, interfering with the normal synthesis of chitin, leading to the inability of the insect to molt and undergo metamorphosis, ultimately resulting in death. Additionally, Hexaflumuron can also suppress the feeding rate of pests, further accelerating their demise.
It can prevent and control pests from the orders Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera, and Hemiptera on cotton and fruit trees, and it also has ovicidal activity. It is particularly effective against pests such as cotton bollworm, but ineffective against mites.

Beta-cypermethrin is a broad-spectrum insecticide with high insecticidal activity against many types of pests.Beta-cypermethrin has no systemic effect and must be sprayed evenly and thoughtfully. The safe harvest interval is generally 10 days. It is toxic to fish, bees and silkworms and cannot be used in and around bee farms and mulberry gardens. Avoid contaminating fish ponds, rivers and other waters.

Features of Hexaflumuron

Chemical Stability: Hexaflumuron is a chemical that is soluble in ace-tone and dichl-oromethane, characterized by its chemical stability.
Insecticidal and Ovicidal Activity: Hexaflumuron is a chitin synthesis inhibitor with high insecticidal and ovicidal activity, capable of rapidly killing pests and inhibiting their reproduction.
Wide Application Range: Hexaflumuron is primarily used for the control of pests in crops such as cotton, potatoes, and fruit trees. It is particularly effective against various Coleoptera, Diptera, and Hemiptera insects, including cotton bollworm, golden twin-spotted moth, leaf roller, and thorn moth.
Inhibition of Pest Growth: Hexaflumuron inhibits the synthesis of chitin in pests, obstructing their normal molting and metamorphosis, while also reducing their feeding rate, thereby achieving pest control.
Safety for Crops: Hexaflumuron is safe for crops and can be used on corn, vegetables, citrus, cotton, potatoes, grapes, and soybeans, making it suitable for integrated pest management.
Long-lasting Efficacy: Hexaflumuron has a long-lasting effect, is resistant to rain wash-off, and selectively affects beneficial arthropod adults without causing a resurgence of piercing-sucking pests. It has a mild effect on beneficial insect adults and predatory spiders.

Application of Hexaflumuron

1.Applications of Hexaflumuron in Agriculture

Hexaflumuron is suitable for controlling pests in cotton, tomatoes, peppers, cruciferous vegetables, apples, peaches, and citrus fruits. It is primarily used to manage various pests from the orders Coleoptera, Diptera, and Hemiptera, such as **rapeseed beetle**, diamondback moth, beet armyworm, cabbage looper, tobacco budworm, cotton bollworm, apple leafminer, leaf miner, leafroller, cotton cutworm, onion fly, larvae of the family Cossidae, and others.
Hexaflumuron can indirectly improve crop yield and quality by reducing pest damage. By controlling these pests, crops can focus their energy on growth and produce higher yields. However, it is important to note that Hexaflumuron itself does not directly enhance yield or quality.

2. Role of Hexaflumuron in Public Health
(1) Insecticide for Vector Control
Vector-borne diseases include malaria, dengue fever, lymphatic filariasis, schistosomiasis, chikungunya, filariasis, Chagas disease, leishmaniasis, Zika virus, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, and tick-borne diseases, which account for approximately 17% of the global infectious disease burden. More than half of the global population lives in areas at risk of two or more major vector-borne diseases. Despite the differences in pathogens, epidemiology, burden, and existing treatments, all vector-borne diseases share a common feature: they are transmitted through vectors such as mosquitoes, midges, triatomine bugs, sand flies, snails, or ticks, and can be disrupted through vector control. In fact, vector control interventions have proven essential for controlling and eliminating most vector-borne diseases.
Vector control interventions largely rely on the action of chemical insecticides, which can be sprayed on surfaces and water bodies, applied from the air, or impregnated into long-lasting mesh materials.
(2) Termite Control
Hexaflumuron is an insecticide used to control termites. Although its primary use is to manage termites, it can also provide some public health benefits by preventing termite infestations, which can damage property and potentially displace individuals. Termite infestations can cause severe damage to homes and other structures. In severe cases, termite infestations can make buildings uninhabitable. By preventing termite infestations, Hexaflumuron can help protect public health by ensuring that people have safe and reliable housing.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers Hexaflumuron to be a low-risk pesticide. This means the EPA has determined that Fluazuron has minimal impact on human health, low toxicity to non-target organisms, and a low likelihood of groundwater contamination.

Application of Beta-cypermethrin

Beta-cypermethrin can be used against a wide range of insect pests in public health(e.g. flies, cockroaches, mosquitoes, fleas, lice, bugs) and in
veterinary applications (ectoparasitic ticks and mites).
In plant protection,Beta-cypermethrin
can be applied to a variety of fruit trees, vegetables, grain, cotton, camellia and other crops, as well as a variety of forest trees, plants, tobacco caterpillars, cotton bollworms, diamondback moths, beet armyworms, Spodoptera litura, tea loopers, pink bollworms, and aphids. , spotted leaf miners, beetles, stink bugs, psyllids, thrips, heartworms, leaf rollers, caterpillars, thorn moths, citrus leaf miners, red wax scales and other pests have good Killing effect.
