Fludioxonil inhibits enzymes related to glucose phosphorylation in pathogens. This suppression hinders fungal hyphae growth and leads to pathogen death. When applied as a seed treatment, the active ingredient adsorbs onto the seed surface during stirring and germination. It forms a stable, long-lasting protective barrier.
