Product Description

Tebufenozide belongs to the carbamate hydrazone class of insecticides. It is an efficient and broad-spectrum insecticide commonly used in agriculture. It effectively controls various pests, such as aphids, mites, and locusts. The insecticidal action of Tebufenozide occurs by inhibiting the activity of acetylcholinesterase in pests. This interference disrupts nerve transmission, leading to paralysis and eventual death of the pests. Acetylcholinesterase is a key enzyme that degrades acetylcholine during nerve transmission. As an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, Tebufenozide prevents the normal degradation of acetylcholine. This disruption affects nerve signal transmission, ultimately causing paralysis and death in pests. This mechanism makes chrysanthemum hydrazone a highly effective insecticide with broad-spectrum efficacy against various pests.

Features of Tebufenozide

1. Tebufenozide is a non-steroidal new insect growth regulator and is the latest developed insect hormone insecticide. It acts as an agonist on the molting hormone receptors of pests, accelerating abnormal molting and suppressing feeding. This leads to physiological disorders and starvation, resulting in death.

2. It primarily exerts its effects through stomach poison, but it also has a certain degree of contact activity and strong ovicidal action.

3. After feeding, it can disrupt and damage the existing hormonal balance within the insect, leading to feeding refusal. Generally, pests stop feeding 5 hours after consumption. Within 1-2 days, molting reactions occur. In 2-3 days, incomplete molting and feeding refusal happen, causing dehydration and eventual death, reaching peak mortality around day three.

4. It has good ovicidal capabilities and induces chemical sterilization in insects after feeding, resulting in a long-lasting effect, typically lasting between 15 to 30 days.

5. It is highly safe, with no phytotoxic reactions. It can also lead to chemical sterilization of some lepidopteran pests after application. A second mortality peak can occur after 10 days. It poses no toxic side effects to bees, predatory mites, and is therefore considered extremely safe.

Application

Control of Cabbage Looper: When pests occur, apply 40 mL of 24% Tebufenozide suspension per acre, diluted with 10 to 15 liters of water for spraying.

Control of Beet Armyworm: Apply during the late egg development stage or early larval stage, using 25 to 42 g of 20% Tebufenozide suspension per acre for uniform spraying.

Control of Apple Leaf Curling Moth: Apply during the early larval stage, using a dilution of 1200 to 2400 times of 24% Tebufenozide, or add 41.6 to 83 mL of 24% Tebufenozide to every 100 liters of water for spraying.

Control of Pine Moth: When pine moths occur, use a dilution of 1200 to 2400 times of 24% Tebufenozide, or add 41.6 to 83 mL of 24% Tebufenozide to every 100 liters of water for spraying.

Control of Apple Moth: Apply when the first generation starts to occur, using a dilution of 1000 to 1500 times of 24% Tebufenozide suspension for uniform spraying. If pest levels are high, spray again after an interval of 14 to 21 days.
