Acetamiprid, an insecticide, mainly interferes with the nerve conduction in insects by binding to acetylcholine receptors, thereby inhibiting their activity. In addition to contact, stomach toxicity, and strong penetrative effects, diminazene also possesses strong systemic activity, requires a small dosage, acts quickly, and has a long-lasting effect.
1. For the control of aphids on citrus, peach trees, and other fruit trees, spray a 3000-fold dilution of 10% acetamiprid emulsion during the aphid occurrence period. This provides excellent control effectiveness against citrus aphids and has a longer duration of effect, with no phytotoxicity at normal usage rates.
2. For the control of aphids on cotton, flowers, and other crops, spray 20-30 ml of 10% acetamiprid emulsion per barrel at the initial peak occurrence of aphids. The control effect is good.
3. For the control of aphids on peppers and cucurbits, carefully spray 20-30 ml of 10% acetamiprid emulsion per barrel during the initial peak occurrence of aphids. This shows good control effectiveness. Even in years with heavy rainfall, the efficacy can last for over 15 days.
