Product Description

Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl is a sulfonylurea herbicide, classified as a selective systemic herbicide that is primarily absorbed by the root system. It rapidly translocates within the weed plants, inhibiting their growth and leading to gradual death. Rice can decompose this herbicide, resulting in almost no impact on rice growth. It has stable efficacy, high safety, and a duration of effect of 25 to 35 days.

Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl efficacy is not affected by temperature, and it has a long-lasting effect. A single application can control a variety of weed threats during the rice growing season.
 

Application of Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl

1. Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl can be used to control various weeds in direct-seeded, transplanted, and broadcast-seeded rice fields, including both annual and perennial broadleaf weeds as well as sedges, such as Cyperus esculentus, water nutgrass, purple nutsedge, and funds.
2. For barnyard grass beyond the 2-leaf stage, pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl alone shows poor efficacy and is typically used in combination with other herbicides to enhance weed control.
3. The timing for application in seedling and direct-seeded rice fields is during the 1-3 leaf stages of rice, whereas for transplanted rice, it should be applied 3-20 days after transplanting. In dry direct-seeded fields, applications are made during the 1-3 leaf stages of rice, maintaining the appropriate water levels.
4. Application methods for pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl include mixing with soil for broadcasting or dilution with water for spraying. The specific dosage may vary based on different crops and weed situations.
5. Key considerations include selecting the appropriate application timing, avoiding use on sensitive crops or varieties, and maintaining proper water levels to improve efficacy.
6. The application of pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl may harm surrounding broadleaf crops, so caution is warranted during use.
