Product Description

Butachlor is a selective systemic herbicide of the acet-anilide class. It mainly functions by being absorbed by the young shoots of weeds and then translocated throughout the plant. After plants absorb this product, it inhibits and destroys enzymes, affecting protein synthesis, inhibiting the normal growth and development of weed seedlings and young roots, ultimately leading to the death of the weeds. When used in clayey soil or soil with high organic matter content, the herbicide can be absorbed by soil colloids, is not easily leached, and has a longer effectiveness period.

Application

5-7 days after transplanting rice (before the emergence of weeds), apply the medicine-soil method evenly. The dosage of the medicine should be determined according to different regions, temperature differences, soil organic matter content, seedling size, the amount and types of weeds. When applying the medicine, there should be a shallow water layer of 3-5 centimeters in the field. Mix this product with a small amount of fine sand first, then mix it with 15-20 kilograms of moist fine sand, and apply it on a sunny, windless afternoon. Maintain the water layer for seven days after applying the medicine, then proceed with normal management.
