Fenoxycarb is a non-terpenoid carbamate compound. It has stomach poison and contact killing effects. It also acts as an insect growth regulator. Its insecticidal action is non-neurotoxic. It shows strong juvenile hormone activity against various insects. This activity leads to egg killing, suppression of metamorphosis in adults, and molting inhibition in larvae.
